Hi all, Bazkur here. I've had this YouTube channel for a while but never really did anything with it due to a tight work schedule. However, since I'm out of work for a while I thought I might give this YouTube thing a try and put out some content. I planned on putting out a few Let's Play videos and Game Guides. However the channel has been getting a decent amount of traffic so I wanted to expand to some written material as well as a hub for my videos.
So I am often asked, "What is a 'Bazkur'?" Well to the best of my knowledge it is a word I made up back when I was playing D&D at a young age. I was Bazkur the Warlock, and I completely sucked at D&D but I liked the name so I stuck with it as I moved forward into games such as World of Warcraft.
What games do I play? In reality it might be easier to tell you what games I don't play but let's stick to the ones I actively play a great deal:
- Path of Exile
- Banished
- Rimworld
- Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft
- Cities: Skylines
- Overwatch
- Diablo 3
- Jurassic World: Evolution
- Sins of a Solar Empire
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Heroes of the Storm
Often asked about my computer specs, here is my current build:
- CASE NZXT H700 (Black - Blue)
- NZXT Kraken X72 Cooler
- ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero (Wi-Fi AC)
- Asus Cerberus GTX 1070 Ti
- Intel Core i9-9900K 8-Core 3.6 GHz
- Seasonic PRIME Ultra 1200W Platinum
- G.SKILL TridentZ 32GB (2 x 16 GB) 3000 MHz
- SSD - Samsung 860 EVO 1TB
- SSD - Samsung 970 EVO 1TB
- HDD - Seagate Barracuda 4TB
- Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Normally I'd build a gaming PC myself however this time around I've been exceptionally busy and I had the cash, so I ordered a PC to spec. I used NZXT's BLD service. I'm sure I could have got more for my money building myself but these days I can pretty much put a price tag on my time and it just wasn't worth it to me as I don't find building a PC all that much fun.
Thus far, I'd highly recommend the BLD service. NZXT did a beautiful job all around. Check them out if you want a gaming rig and can't build it yourself.
